Contractor support
Site Management for Fire Suppression Contractors
Practical support to keep site activity coordinated, project information organised and installation work moving towards handover.
Support on site
A clear point of coordination for your project.
Fire suppression installations depend on clear communication between contractors, site teams and specialist suppliers. ICAA can support the day-to-day coordination of your works, helping your team manage priorities and follow through on agreed actions.
The scope is agreed around your project, programme, system type and the responsibilities already held by your team.
- Site coordination: liaising with the principal contractor, other trades and your installation team
- Programme and progress: tracking planned activities, recording progress and highlighting delays or constraints
- Work readiness: coordinating access, deliveries, work areas and the information needed before installation starts
- Site documentation: keeping agreed records, drawings, actions and project correspondence organised
- Safety coordination: supporting site briefings and following up agreed RAMS, permit and site-rule arrangements with the responsible teams
- Quality follow-up: recording installation observations and tracking snags with the responsible installer or specialist
- Testing and handover: coordinating attendance, outstanding actions and the collection of commissioning and handover records
How it works
Agreed responsibilities. Practical follow-through.
We start with your project location, installation scope, programme and the level of site support required. Together, we identify the key interfaces, reporting arrangements and decisions that need to stay with your technical team.
During the agreed appointment, support focuses on coordination, progress updates and action tracking. Issues are raised with the relevant people so that decisions, responsibilities and next steps remain clear.
As works approach completion, we help organise outstanding items and the records needed for an orderly handover.
Defined project scope
Support that fits your delivery team.
Discuss support for a defined project phase, additional site coordination or the close-out of installation works. Availability and the appropriate scope are confirmed before an appointment is agreed.
System design, technical approval, installation certification and commissioning sign-off remain with the appointed competent specialists. Any formal project dutyholder appointment must be separately agreed.
